Merit’s business model is built upon strong relationships with our facility, telecoms and technology partners in India thereby giving us the technology platforms and infrastructure required to securely and reliably execute our client contracts. Our partners have been extensively vetted and have been delivering projects with us for at least eighteen months thereby giving our clients the peace of mind of dealing with people whom have a proven record of successful project delivery

Merit has established a primary operating facility in Chennai India which surpasses many of the UKs finest call centre operations. We have combined the latest networking and IT infrastructure with a fully supported internet, power and telecoms setup, which gives us a robust, resilient, and flexible facility. Our main call centre facility has seventy workstations, two large training rooms, seven offices and dedicated server and telecoms rooms, all spread over three floors. It has a terrace and dining area and staff common area on the forth floor.

The workstations measure 4.5ft wide by 2.5ft deep with head height dividers which aid noise reduction. Chairs are standard adjustable (height & back) gas lift models. The building has air conditioning throughout and is well lit with modern ergonomic fluorescent lighting. Noise reduction is helped by having partitioned work units, each with generous space and spread over several areas.

The building is located near one of Chennai’s central commercial and retailing centres in Nungumbakkam and is well served by public transport, roads, and other communication infrastructure
